The new “Vino” line from Ramirez celebrates the shared and storied history of Spanish guitars and wines. The new Vino Studio model features either a cedar or spruce top, coral sides, a bottom made with three alternate strips of coral and oak (used for wine barrels), and a grapes mosaic on the soundhole and bridge plate.
About the Limited Edition and Artist Guitars

Each guitar in this category tells a story. Whether the guitar was designed to commemorate a milestone in Ramirez Guitars’ rich history or whether it was to celebrate an accomplished musician, the Artist and Limited Edition guitars are all handmade with only the most precious cuts of woods. Built by a few expert luthiers in the small artisan Ramirez workshop, each guitar is a truly unique instrument, many of them only available for a limited time.

When we thought about the project we liked the idea of showing an image of Spain related to Spanish Guitar and Spanish Wine, both nationally and internationally. In fact, one of the few musical instruments in the world whose nationality is part of its name is the Spanish guitar.

With the alliance between Spanish Guitar and Spanish Wine we are referring to our history as an art form deeply rooted in the culture of our land, from the beauty and pleasure they provide, not only for the aesthetics involved in the processes of preparation for obtaining a good guitar and a good wine, but in the sensuality of shapes and colors of the guitar, its sound and the enjoyment of playing or listening to a music piece, the smell of woods, and in tasting a quality wine, its aroma, color, presence. It is about offering the alliance between two important pillars of the Spanish culture that give pleasure to the senses, to all the senses: touch, sight, taste, smell, hearing, reaching even further, because music is a way to exalt the spirit.

Therefore, in 2010 we present the Wine Series, designed as a limited series of two unique designs, one professional and the other from studio, both based on wine aesthetic.

PROFFESIONAL LINE WINE SERIES:
Limited edition of 30 copies in total.
Traditional Guitar, with cedar or spruce top. The sides are made of Indian rosewood, and the bottom is handcrafted with five alternate strips of Indian rosewood and coral.
Grapes mosaic on the soundhole and on the bridge plate.

STUDIO LINE WINE SERIES:
Limited series to be done over 3 years.
Template and varetaje based in the design by José Ramírez III for the NE line studio guitars. Cedar top with spruce top option.
Coral sides, and bottom made with three alternate strips coral, oak (wood used for the barrels where wine is aged) strips
Grapes mosaic on the soundhole and on the bridge plate.
